MEEYO
MEEYO Chat — free
Chat with your contacts — as easy as WhatsApp and Snapchat. Free, and every account is confirmed with a real mobile number.
How it works
- Open meeyo.ch or get the app
- Enter the mobile number
- Type in the code from the SMS
- Chat with your own contacts — those already there are found, the others are invited with one tap
What is free
- 10 chats at a time with your contacts
- 1 group of your own with your friends — up to 10 people
- Map avatar: 1 avatar, 3 edits per week — everything with a subscription
- Photos, videos, voice messages and reactions
- Your chats stay free — no expiry
What the subscription adds
Unlimited chat, group chats with friends of up to 1024 people — and all of MEEYO to discover: suggestions, rooms (new people who share your interests), experiences and MEE. You see the subscription in the app if you want it — free stays free.
Your data
- Your number is never shown. You decide whether friends may find you by your number (default: off).
- You only chat with contacts you accept — no strangers, no swiping.
- Blocking and reporting take one tap. Mass messages and advertising to strangers are not allowed.
- Anyone who has your number can send you a request – you decide: accept, ignore or block. You can only be found by number if you allow it; with your MEEYO code or link, always.
- Your contacts stay on your device: MEEYO only receives encrypted check values (hashes) and uses them to find only people who turned on «Findable by my phone number». Nothing is stored about people who are not on MEEYO. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
