Community guidelines
Version 1.0 of 16 September 2026 — part of the terms.
In short: be real, be respectful, take no money and give none.
- Real: your own current photos; your face on the profile photo; no screenshots, memes or pictures of other people; no children in photos.
- Respect: no insults, threats, harassment, discrimination; no means no.
- No sexual content: no explicit images or texts in the profile or unsolicited in chat. After three rejected explicit photos, a human reviews the account.
- No money: no requests for money, no investment tips, no vouchers, no crypto. Anyone doing so is reported and reviewed.
- No advertising, no selling: MEEYO is not a marketplace and not a stage for services.
- One account: one per person. The same photo on two accounts gets noticed.
- 18 and over: no minors, no allusions to minors.
- Before meeting: public place, tell someone, travel there yourself, leave if you feel uneasy. Support in every chat: support@meeyo.ch.
Meeting safely — seven rules
- Public place first. Café, restaurant, a daytime walk. Homes come later — if at all.
- Tell someone. In the chat under 🛡 "Share my date": when, where and the first name go to a person you trust.
- Get there and back on your own. Don't get picked up before you know each other.
- No money, ever. Anyone asking for money, vouchers, crypto or "help" is a reason to report — whatever the story.
- Stay sober enough to decide. Your drink stays with you.
- Leave if it feels wrong. You owe nobody an explanation. A no is complete.
- Report with one tap. A human looks within 24 hours. Emergency: 117 (police) / 112.
How a report works
1. You report a profile or message with one tap (or by e-mail to support@meeyo.ch). 2. A human reviews within 24 hours; in case of acute danger we suspend as a precaution. 3. You and the reported person receive the decision with reasons. 4. Appeal within 30 days to support@meeyo.ch — a different person decides. Abusive reports (targeted, repeated, without reason) can themselves lead to a suspension.
