Terms of service

Version 1.3 of 30.10.2026 — for new accounts immediately, for existing accounts from 30 November 2026; until then version 1.2 applies to them (read version 1.2, version 1.1, version 1.0). New in section 7: people who state «diverse» (non-binary) receive a Founding place in the pool with more free places. The rules on cancellation and withdrawal (sections 4 and 5) apply to everyone immediately because they put you in a better position. Where language versions differ, the German version prevails.

1. Provider and service

FoxxCode GmbH, Blegistrasse 7, 6340 Baar, Switzerland ("we"), operates MEEYO, a platform for meeting people and experiencing things together (website and app). On MEEYO people find each other for friendship, leisure, travel and travel companions, concerts, sport, groups, couples and families — love & partnership is one of these areas. In rooms you state what you are looking for; suggestions and contacts only arise between people who want the same thing and have chosen each other. There is also the AI companion MEE. We do not owe any particular result — an encounter, a meet-up, a relationship.

2. Participation and account

Anyone aged 18 or over can take part. One account per person, truthful details, your own current photos. Every profile photo is checked, every face verified; without verification you can look but not write, you are not suggested and you do not get a Founding place. Login details are personal; whoever passes them on is liable for the consequences. With registration (checkbox "I accept the terms and the privacy policy") the usage contract for the free functions is concluded. You can end the free usage contract at any time by deleting your account (Account → Delete account and data). Consents under data protection law (e.g. marketing, location, biometrics, AI functions, sensitive information) can, by contrast, be withdrawn at any time.

2a. Protected areas (18+)

Some rooms are reserved for particular preferences and only for adults who expressly want this. Access requires a confirmed phone number and a renewed confirmation that you are of age; we store the version, time and IP address of this confirmation. Photos in these areas are separate from your profile and visible only to people you expressly share them with; they too are checked before release. Anyone in a protected room does not appear in the nearby radar. Everything happens only between adults and by mutual consent. What may be shown there is governed by the community guidelines. Depictions of minors, of violence or of people without their consent are prohibited without exception.

3. Packages, prices, conclusion of contract

The first 14 days after opening are free; during this trial there are 5 suggestions and one double heart per day, with a package or in the Founding year 15 suggestions per day. After that there are three packages: 3 months, 6 months, 12 months — the same price for everyone, no coins, no boosts, no tiers. In Switzerland and Liechtenstein they cost CHF 45, CHF 75 and CHF 120 (final prices, currently without VAT, not VAT-registered). In the euro area you pay in euros; the price is shown before purchase as a final price including your country's VAT. The purchase contract for a package is concluded when you click "Pay" in the checkout (Stripe) and the payment is confirmed. You receive a confirmation with invoice by e-mail. You can correct your details at any time before clicking "Pay".

4. Renewal and stopping

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same term at the price then valid; we remind you 7 days before by e-mail. You can cancel at any time, without notice and without giving reasons, with the button «Verträge hier kündigen» («Cancel contracts here») (Account → Access): you see your details, confirm with «jetzt kündigen» («Cancel now») and immediately receive a confirmation by e-mail with date, time and end of contract, which you can also save. The current package runs out, then nothing more is charged. One-off purchases (e.g. via Twint) do not renew. Consumers resident in the EU: after the first term the package continues for an indefinite period and can be cancelled at any time to the end of the current month.

5. Right of withdrawal

For customers resident in Switzerland there is no statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases; the 14 free days are our voluntary trial. Consumers resident in the EU may withdraw from the purchase of a package within 14 days of conclusion of the contract without giving reasons. The easiest way is the button «Vertrag widerrufen» («Withdraw from contract») (Account → Access; the link is also in the payment confirmation): confirm name, contract and e-mail, then «Widerruf bestätigen» («Confirm withdrawal») — you immediately receive an acknowledgement of receipt with date and time. An e-mail to support@meeyo.ch or any other clear statement to FoxxCode GmbH, Blegistrasse 7, 6340 Baar, Switzerland is also sufficient; to meet the deadline it is enough to send the withdrawal before it expires. Because MEEYO starts immediately at your express request (checkbox before purchase), if you withdraw you pay for the share of the service provided up to that point, pro rata by days started — example: package of 90 days for 45, withdrawal on day 4: 2.00 stays with us, you get 43.00 back. We refund the rest without delay, at the latest 14 days after receipt of the withdrawal, to the same means of payment and without fees. The withdrawal ends the package; account, profile and chats remain. The right of withdrawal only lapses once the service has been provided in full.

6. What remains after the package

Profile and chats remain. New suggestions come with a package. An account without a login for 24 months may be deleted after a warning by e-mail.

7. Founding 500

The first 250 women and 250 men who register and verify receive one year free (Founding year), final after selfie verification. Anyone who selects «diverse» (non-binary) under «I am» receives a place in the pool with more free places. The Founding year starts when the platform opens (as soon as 125 women and 125 men are in) and does not automatically turn into a paid package. Six months after both pools are full, a weekend for two is raffled among all Founding members — participation without purchase, conditions published separately. Team test accounts do not count.

8. Conduct, reports, suspensions

The community guidelines apply. Anyone can report content with one tap; we review within 24 hours. Violations lead to a warning, a temporary suspension or exclusion — always decided by a human, with a reason, sent by e-mail and in the app, and with the option to appeal to support@meeyo.ch within 30 days; a different person from the one who suspended decides the appeal. One exception to protect everyone: if three different people report the same account within 7 days, we suspend it provisionally for at most 7 days until a human has decided. No shadow bans. In case of exclusion for a violation, no refund of the current package is due.

9. Content and rights

Your photos and texts remain yours. You grant us the right to show them to other members within MEEYO and to check them for safety and verification — not for advertising. You warrant that you hold the rights to what you upload. Every image is checked automatically before release, including to protect children (meeyo.ch/kinderschutz).

10. AI functions

MEE is an AI, not a person. It phrases but does not decide: you confirm details from the conversation yourself, you adopt bio suggestions yourself, the coach provides drafts. MEE never writes in your name. AI assessments in reports are always checked by a human before any suspension. Before release, images are assessed by an AI; in case of doubt a human decides. Even when images are rejected repeatedly, it is not the AI that suspends but a human. Tinu, the avatar who explains features on MEEYO, is also an AI and not a person: image, voice and answers are artificially generated.

11. Promoters

The promoter programme is governed by the promoter agreement (meeyo.ch/promoter/vertrag). Promoters are independent and do not act on our behalf.

12. Availability and changes

We strive for continuous availability but cannot guarantee it (maintenance, outages at providers). We may develop functions further; we do not cut core services of a paid package during its term. Changes to these terms are announced 30 days in advance by e-mail; if you do not object before they take effect, they apply — in case of a deterioration you may cancel until then and the remainder of a paid package is refunded pro rata. The app records which version you accepted and when.

13. Liability

We are liable without limit for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual duties and limited to foreseeable, typical damage. We are not liable for the conduct of other members; we check faces and reports but cannot vouch for every person. Mandatory statutory liability, in particular under product liability law, remains unaffected in all cases.

14. Law, jurisdiction, language

Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer habitually resident in the EU, you additionally retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence (Art. 6 para. 2 Rome I Regulation). Place of jurisdiction is the registered office of FoxxCode GmbH in Baar, Canton of Zug; for consumers the mandatory courts of their place of residence additionally apply. Should a provision be invalid, the rest remains valid. The German version of these terms prevails.

15. Voluntary support contributions

Voluntary support contributions are gratuitous payments to FoxxCode GmbH without anything in return. They give no claim to services, shares, repayment or a say, and are independent of the packages and of the Platinum Membership. A contribution never starts a subscription. On request we refund payments made in error within 30 days. (Added on 21 October 2026; applies only to voluntary support contributions in the MEEYO Heart Project.)
